Now, this is the part where the good reader kindly interjects, "Hey Lenwood! How can one possibly save every dime they've ever earned?" The answer is that one cannot, and that's exactly the point. Money is never really yours. You'll never keep it if you spend it. And spend you must, so lose you will.

Consequently, folks will go their entire lives not living. They live only to gain what they cannot keep. And if we live our lives in this way then we must ask ourselves what is it that we must inevitably end up with?— nothing.

But our hero, on the other hand, will live and die with something. In fact, if there is one thing they will never have, if there is one thing they will never be, it is nothing.

And that good reader is precisely what makes them "our hero," because the biggest dragon in life is not facing death, it's never living life.

Now, as for myself, I wish to appologize for my absence as of late. Y'see I have, well, frankly not been living life. So, don't be too hard on yourselves. Happens to all of us.

UPDATES: It's been a hot minute, so me thinks a little housekeeping is in order. So, back in June (has it been that long!), I created a sort of off-beat cinematic mix-tape entitled: Destroy All Horror Hosts?! as a sort of ode to the compilation tapes of yesteryear. This is a collaborative project that I did with a bunch of truly talented artists and with some original material thrown into the mix. It is well worth a viewing if you will to view it (download is also available).

In other news, three entries have been added to the Folklore Rants series of ramblings: "Music You May Never Hear, "Voices of the Dead" (or some comparable title) and "Why Bigfoot Might Actually Exist". Because why not?

And lastly, to the Thrill Land "Dungeon," I have added a section at the very bottom for "Sister Projects & Collaborations." These are for works that I have either created or contributed to outside the scope of Lumberwoods or its parent studio Thrill Land. And that about wraps it up.
