you can leave it at that. But if you’re “not White enough,” how do you think one goes about to compensate for such a “deficiency”?

Traditionally speaking, the same way a bully compensates for theirs by going after whoever they precieve as weaker.

See, birds of a feather begin to compare their plumage. And if you’re a poor white in the rural South, it sure won’t be long before you realize it’s unWhite to be poor, it’s unWhite to be rural, it’s even a little unWhite to be Southern, well, leastwise, if you reckon not like “proper” White folk. I.e. suburban, wealtheir and typically Northern.

And if you wanna know why, just you try and imagine who has historically been poor, rural and Southern.

And while such poor sorry souls sure enough have their lion share of actual troubles. They will happily endulge any rich man’s made-up problems simply for the prospect to be thought of as a “real [White] boy” (or girl) and exalt themselves over another.

Because if you think the fight to get the top is bad. Well, you'd really hate to see the fight not to be on the bottom.

And it is for such shameful prospects that a great countless many neglect all that is pressing in their own lives; focusing only on that which is trivial and which ultimately brings them to ruin.

Now, it is usually at this juncture I'd insert a joke, but for that, good reader, apparently you'd need only to peer out towards your local drive-thru window.
